Nelson Street Student Accommodation
J & S McKee Ltd are proud to have been part of another exceptional project with GRAHAM Group. “Nelson Street” is a 245,000 sq ft student accommodation adjacent to the new University of Ulster Campus and tucked in alongside the Westlink.
The scope of J & S McKee Ltd package was to provide a full supply and fix solution to the substructure works, namely;
🔹site clearance and bulk excavations
🔹temporary working platform for piling operations, including piling attendance
🔹reinforced concrete pile caps, groundbeams, liftcore bases and tower crane bases
🔹underground drainage and BWIC
🔹substructure waterproofing package
🔹reinforced concrete ground floor slab
This was a great project to work on and our highly motivated skilled teams completed our scope of works on time with a high quality finish.
260 linear meters of sheet piling around the perimeter of this site and pile caps in for structural steels to carry the building.
Steel in place for reinforced concrete tower crane base.
